We install all the modules in every site. This allows us to upsell the other features with a simple license addition and no other deployment. As mentioned in a previous comment, removing the base sample site files is very helpful and useful which I has been done in v11.
Take look at my post here Martin, it has specifics on what I do on every install of Kentico, simply to make the install lean and clean.
Another option/idea is to select a SMTP provider per email campaign vs. template.
Great idea Stephen. Like the idea of having it defined by email template but would also need to add a site identifier as well if someone has a multi-tenancy install.
I agree with this. Currently working on a site with over 25,000 pages and 250+ unique nodes that each have their own workflow enabled and permissions for 1 specific role per unique node to send notifications and unfortunately, it sends emails to all the global admins and anyone else who has the "Manage Workflow" permission set. Needs to be a way to disable this and still allow users to manage workflow.

I'd also like to see a "reset properties" button so when you have the same 10 instances and you add or remove a property, you don't have to go back to each of those instances and re-save them.
How do you currently implement recurring donations or membership renewal?
Is there a common scenario for the membership renewal? e.g. Purchaser will buy a membership/donate, and after a year an email will be sent to this Purchaser with new billing info and payment link or confirmation that a recurring payment was made?

I've set this up with Authorize.NET and some custom code. With this provider you need to have a profile created with a few other keys for each user. Then we have a scheduled task that runs 3 times in a given period of X days and will process any memberships that have not yet been processed for this year. If the payment fails, the scheduled task sends an email to the member with the given error and logs an event log record with that members info. Same is true if a renewal succeeds, an email is sent to the member and the members renewal period is updated in Kentico.

Shameless blog post for this feature with a few lines of code
