Events (Booking System) enhancements
The following enhancements to the event booking module would be very useful.
1) Ability to add users to events in bulk (in the admin section) via a selector. e.g. perhaps in a similar way that you would add users to a membership or role etc
2) Ability to resend the Event Invitation email to ALL users in bulk. Currently you're only able to resend to individual users.. this leads me on to suggestion #3
3) Ability to specify/apply a pre-defined email template for the "Mass Email" tab. This would satisfy #2 above. Currently, when using the mass emailer you're forced to type out the email content every time (in WYSIWYG editor). Makes perfect sense to tie this into email templates. Personally, I'd like to see this functionality across all the mass email tabs across the system.
4). Extend event bookings to allow for a single event with multiple time slots, where each time slot can accept bookings. Currently, we're having to mimic this behaviour by creating multiple events, which are effectively all the same event, but we have one for each time slot (e.g. 10:00-11:00, 13:00-14:00 etc). This sobviously results in multiple listings and it gets cluttered and repetative.. isn't a particulary good user experience.
5) Scheduled task for reminder emails - send a reminder of a pending event booking to registrants

May I add a #6 since it's very similar?
#6 - enable email notifications to be sent to event organiser. Currently, only the attendee receives an email, and the organiser must log into Kentico to retrieve the attendee list. A setting to allow an email to be sent on new registrations, to a designated email for each event, would be beneficial.
Hi Dave - agree this is an area that could be further developed and expanded in future - the possibilities are endless - 101 ideas we are finding taking to our event co-ordinators.
#4 - Single event with multiple time slots; great idea and very real world scenario - particularly with conference events and instances (sub-events).
Some of our general thoughts / enhancements include;
a) Include electronic itinerary (agenda) for the event so the user access prior or during the event. Good example being the Kentico Connection itinerary at the moment
b) Ticket Types - Ability to purchase/register different ticket types for an Event - eg. Adult, Child, etc.

Thinking about #5, this could also be satisified by #3 to some extent. i.e. you could potentially select a "reminder" email template and manually send a mass email. Automating it would be useful though
thank you for suggestions. Few of them can be implemented easily to next version but #4 can be tricky. So we'll see how many votes it gets.
