Search the entire Media Library and all sub-folders
Is there a way to do a Global search in Media Library?
I.e. when at the root folder, do a search that will find all the images in all subfolders?
e.g. If I want to find all the "achill" images that are in the Media Library and I go to the root folder and search for "achill" -> no images are found
I need to search each folder individually, so if I go to the sub-folder and search for "achill" => I find all the "achill" images in the folder
Searching the entire Media Library and all subfolders
Is there an update on this? I cannot believe this is not normal functionality. What is the point of having the ability to search if a user has to remember where every file is located so they can search specifically there? Why even have sub-folders at this point.
Is there any update on this?

Media Library is very week part of Kentico now. Global admin search in Media Library is a must have feature. It is easy to do with file search (which I believe is used now) and even easier with DB search which also may search for file titles and potentially full text. Front end search in Media Library files should be added as a standard feature too. As to feature development it should be possible to have permissions set either on folder (good enough) or on file level in Media Library.

Yes please, exactly as described.
In other news.
At least a checkbox near the current text-entry field that enables searching all sub-folders.
