  1. Ability to customize facebook og and twitter card metadata within the existing Metadata section of the Properties tab

    There is already a functioning area to hold and edit metadata information with good inheritance rules. Can the functionality be expanded to include metadata for common social networks such as facebook and twitter? This is a widely requested feature by clients and the Metadata section in the Properties tab seems like a natural fit.

    • Allow use of different SMTP servers for Marketing and Transactional e-mails.

      Hello, every e-mail marketing expert I asked, told me that it is necessary to send Marketing and Transactional e-mails using different infrastructure. That is why I was very surprissed to find out, that Kentico does not allow to specify which SMTP servers it shoud use for Transactional and which for Marketing e-mails.
      Is there a chance to make it available please?

      • Detect bounced mails by REST service

        We are using SMTP services from SPARKPOST to send our marketing emails in Kentico. The bounced emails are stored in SPARKPOST and there is no POP account to receive this emails. We also use several email address for sending the emails and some of them are just forward accounts, so there is no proper way to get the bounced emails as Kentico is setup.

        Please consider the possibility to monitor emails using REST. SPARKPOST as many other email SMTP solutions offer in their API the possibility to get the list of bounced emails, in this way will be easy for…

        • Better contact adding for static contact groups

          At the moment when you set up a static contact group there is no way to search for contacts to add to it. This makes the feature useless except for sites with a very small number of contacts or by using code to manage them. It would make sense to me to do away with the distinction between dynamic and static contact groups and have only one type made up from a rules based search with an option to determine how often the search is rerun.

          • Schedule automatic resend of email campaign to 'unopened' recipients

            Everyone is busy and don't always read your emails. Resending a campaign only to subscribers/recipients that have not opened the original email is quite effective. The most convenient is to have the option to schedule a resend to unopened at the time of sending the original email.

            • Make Marketing Automation multi-tenancy friendly

              I understand not many EMS instances will be multi-tenancy but Kentico touts to have a multi-tenancy platform but none of the marketing automation workflows support multi-tenancy. For instance if I have the Dancing Goat site and the Corporate Site running on the same instance, I can see all the marketing automation workflows in both instances. This should not be the case. You can leave the workflow as a global workflow but create a linking table or scope with that site's ID in it for workflows of type "automation".

              • Adding feature to filter when contact group assigned

                When contact assigned to group in contact group, there are no field in database to identified when this contact assigned to the group. As a result, we do not know when contact assigned and as a result reporting to show how many contact assigned to group by this month, week, day not able to generate.

                • Provide analytics on form autoresponder emails

                  When someone fills out a form and an autoresponder is sent, we have no visibility into open rates, click rates, unsubscribes, etc. In a recent campaign, we were unable to provide relevant stats to our client. Email autoresponders consistently show the highest engagement rates of any email campaigns. Tracking the results of these autoresponders is a must-have! Thanks - Eric

                  • Visual e-mail builder for marketers to replace current e-mail template editing experience

                    Make a visual drag and drop editor for e-mail templates that could be used for static issues, dynamic issues, marketing automation communications, and on-line form auto-responders (basically all points of e-mail in EMS). The key to this would be to now to have to have content admins and marketers know macros to build e-mail templates.

                    It seems like the parts of the on-line form builder or widgets could be re-used to create this solution.

                    I firmly believe that this is needed for EMS to complete with other marketing automation platforms.

                    • Dynamic Score in Scoring Engine

                      It would be awesome to have variable scoring in the Scoring engine. It's flexible on when you can determine a score should be applied, but the amount is fixed.

                      For example, say a person is filling out a retirement form, i want to award more points the older they are (maybe Contact.Age/10), so someone who is 20 gets 2 points, someone who is 80 gets 8 points.

                      • add a macro rule that allows you create a contact group based on a checkbox in a form. E.g. enter a competeiton and sign up for newsletter

                        Currently the macro for contact groups that are conditional on answers on a form is string based.
                        However, many forms have "sign up to newsletter/marketing" type checkboxes on them and it would be useful to have a default macro rule allowing a contact group based on this checkbox

                          Hi, there is no rule using contact score which we can use for personalization.

                          For example you want to show some content only for users with score between 20 and 50, but there is no rule for that. So we try to work around that with Contact Statuses and Marketing automation because there is trigger based on Contact score.

                          First we set up scoring (rules, etc.), then create 3 contact statuses - Cold lead, Warm lead, Hot lead
                          For each contact status (lead phase) we create a marketing automation plan - Cold lead MA, Warm lead MA, Hot lead MA …

                            It would be great if we had checkboxes/multi-select when looking at contacts in workflows so that more than one contact at a time can be manually transitioned through processes and/or deleted.

                              I have custom page type with field "file". Kentico doesn't track download of this file. Only download of CMS.File is tracked.

                                Regular email templates support plain text alternatives (multi-part mime types); however email marketing templates and issues do not. This is an essential feature of any email marketing system because it significantly enhances the non-spam signature of a message; our clients expect this to be available.

                                  New Email builder in Kentico 11 Beta allows you to add the plaintext version to your marketing emails. If you do not want to write everything from scratch, you can always use the CTRL+A CTRL+C CTRL+V, but we strongly suggest that you compose your plaintext separately according to the message you want to push to readers on devices with no HTML email support.

                                • Built-in ticketing, helpdesk and customer engagement

                                  Kentico is great. It is a well rounded solution where the only limitation is your imagination. However in my opinion, there is probably just 1 area that is lacking: customer support/engagement. I have seen product owners at Kentico argue that there are existing solutions e.g: Zendesk, LivePerson, Deskpro etc - while this maybe true, it is also very bothersome from a UI/UX perspective - as the look and feel is less consistent. It is also frustrating having to open up accounts with various SaaS/PaaS vendors (or even worse - having to set up a separate LAMP/WAMP stacks to support PHP…

                                    How can I automate the importing of contacts into kentico from our internal server. Our server generates a list of names (Contacts) nightly, it would be great to have the done automatically, so we can start an on-boarding process through direct email.

                                      Allow synchronization of personas, scoring or contact groups. We would like to be able to define a persona, scoring or contact group in the dev environment and push them to a production site (where they would be recalculated using the production site's contacts).

                                        Emails in queue could have a time to be sent. It should work similar way as scheduled tasks do. Without time provided they would be sent ASAP.

                                          I would like to be able track how various (personalization) variants and/or contacts with Personas assigned contribute to conversions. To understand if the personalization is set up correctly (meaning it leads to more conversions, etc.)
